This notice is intended to reflect the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (the "NDP Act") and the Nigeria Data Protection Act General Application and Implementation Directive 2025 ("GAID 2025").

Where we rely on legitimate interests, those interests are limited to operating and protecting the website, responding to legitimate business enquiries, administering business relationships and maintaining appropriate records. We will consider those interests against the rights and interests of the individuals concerned.
5. Contact-form enquiries and retention
Website enquiries are intended to be delivered to [email protected]. Finbus does not currently plan to maintain a separate website database containing copies of contact-form submissions.
We may retain enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless a longer period is reasonably required for an active client engagement, a legal or regulatory obligation, a dispute, record-keeping requirement, or another lawful purpose.
6. Sharing personal data
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited personal data with service providers that support our website, hosting, email, security or related business systems where this is necessary for those services. Such providers may process personal data on our behalf or, in limited cases, for their own lawful purposes.
We may also disclose personal data where required by applicable law, regulation, court order or another lawful authority.
7. International processing and transfers
Some technology, hosting, email or infrastructure providers may process information outside Nigeria. Where a cross-border transfer of personal data occurs, Finbus will take steps required under the NDP Act and GAID 2025, including using an appropriate lawful transfer basis or safeguard where applicable.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction. These measures may include access controls, secure hosting, HTTPS, security monitoring and limiting access to personal data to people who need it for legitimate business purposes.
No internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Where a personal-data breach occurs, Finbus will assess and respond to it in accordance with applicable law.
9. Your data-protection rights
Subject to applicable law and any relevant limitations, you may have rights to:

- Request access to personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Object to or request restriction of certain processing.

- Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

This website is directed to organisations and adult business users. Finbus does not intentionally use the website to collect personal data from children. If we become aware that personal data has been submitted by or about a child in circumstances requiring additional safeguards, we will handle it in accordance with applicable law.
12. Automated decision-making
At launch, Finbus does not use information submitted through this website to make decisions about individuals solely by automated means that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
13. Analytics, advertising and marketing tracking
At launch, this website does not use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, advertising pixels, behavioural advertising tools or newsletter tracking. If Finbus introduces these technologies later, this Privacy Notice and the Cookie Notice will be updated and any required consent or preference controls will be implemented before or when those technologies are activated.

Our website may link to third-party websites or publications. Finbus does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their privacy practices. You should review their privacy notices before providing personal information to them.
